We created Sportslick for the triathlon market.  Early on, we sent Sportslick to all the major triathlon wetsuit manufacturers we did our own testing to confirm that it was fine for wetsuits.  This included Quintana Roo,Ironman, and Body Glove wetsuits.  All of these manufacturers say there was no harm to their wetsuit using the product. These tests were done at their own factory.

We have had NO CLAIMS from anyone who said Sportslick damaged their wetsuit. For example, Jim Dreyer swims across the great lakes.  He applies Sportslick over his entire body, and he does not have any problems with chaffing until about 20 hours.  He reports NO PROBLEMS with Sportslick and his wetsuit condition.  Here is his quote:

Sportslick is absolutely wetsuit safe. The seams and the glue will be fine on wet suits, guaranteed. I did not take the words "wetsuit safe" lightly. Data from tests performed at an independant testing lab also confirm its safety for wetwuits.

Also there are ingredients that PROTECT the wet suit, the two different waxes in the product really helps.
